Directions to
the estate
Broken View Estate is nestled along Old North Road in Rothbury, in the heart of the Pokolbin wine district. The road is signposted from the main Hunter Valley tourist route, and the estate gate is marked with our stone pillar and lantern.
Head north on the M1 Pacific Motorway, then take the Hunter Expressway west toward Cessnock. Follow signs to Pokolbin via Broke Road, then continue to Old North Road, Rothbury. Approximately 2.5 hours.
Take the Hunter Expressway west toward Cessnock and Pokolbin. From Cessnock, follow Branxton Road north, then turn onto Old North Road, Rothbury. Approximately 45 minutes.
Newcastle Airport (NTL) is the closest airport, approximately one hour from the estate. Sydney Airport (SYD) is around 2.5 hours by car. Pre-arranged transfers can be organised on request.

Is the estate truly couples-only?
Yes, without exception. Broken View Estate is designed exclusively for couples. Every villa, shared space, and experience on the property is reserved for two guests. This allows us to maintain the quiet, intimate atmosphere that defines a stay here.
How do I confirm a booking?
Send your preferred dates, villa choice, and any special requests to info@brokenviewestate.com.au or call us on 0400 112 341. We will confirm availability and send a booking summary within 24 hours.
What is included with the stay?
All stays include a complimentary estate wine tasting flight on arrival, in-villa amenities, and access to the estate grounds. A welcome bottle of estate wine is placed in each villa. Provisions hampers, cellar tours, and special occasion arrangements can be added by request.
Are pets permitted?
We love animals, but to preserve the tranquillity for all guests, pets are not permitted on the estate. Please contact us if you have specific needs and we will do our best to help with local kennelling recommendations.
Can you help with special occasions?
Absolutely. We regularly host anniversaries, proposals, and milestone birthdays. Let us know the occasion when you enquire and we will arrange something personal: a curated hamper, sparkling wine on arrival, flower arrangements, or a private cellar experience.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellation terms are confirmed at the time of booking. As a small, couples-only estate, we ask for reasonable notice to allow us to open your dates to other guests. We are always happy to discuss rescheduling where circumstances change.
